Albert Ramos Vinolas had notable results in 2019 under Gianluca, including winning ATP Gstaad, reaching the final in ATP Kitzbuhel, and semifinals in ATP Bastad and ATP Zhuhai. He climbed from ATP ranking 98 in June 2019 to top 40 by August 2019.
